The Remodelers Council was organized by the Capital Region Builders Association to assure homeowners in this area that contractors of established business stature, financial stability, and knowledge of the remodeling business are available to serve their needs. The Council's membership is limited to firms who have proven their dependability and trustworthiness to both customers and suppliers.

Members listed as "Remodelers" are LICENSED* by the Louisiana State Licensing Board for Contractors. "Supplier" members may hold a registration to do remodeling work between $7,500 - $75,000 or they are a supplier of products or services to make your project a success.
*Members were licensed at the time of joining our Council. Always check with the Louisiana Licensing Board for Contractors to be sure any contract is up to date with licensing, insurance, etc.

WINNERS OF THE NATIONAL CADRE AWARD!
Council Awards for Demonstrating Remodeling Excellence
The NAHB CADRE awards are presented each year to local councils and individuals whose work at the local level exemplifies the best practices of the remodeling industry.
Our local Remodelers Council was awarded first place for the project, "Helping the Good Samaritan", a home makeover for a local man who was crippled when he stopped to help change a lady's tire on I-10.

Our Involvement in our Community!
Hand-in-hand with the LA. School for the Visually Impaired
The Remodelers Council of GBR was asked to build a Gazebo for the LA School for the Visually Impaired. What a beautiful job! To show their appreciation, the students designed signs and thank you notes that were printed and written in Braille.
